ACUÑA LETT ARQUITECTOS

Starts operations in Costa Rica by the year of 1997 under the name Studio-A but changes to ACUÑA LETT ARCHITECTS on 2002 with the association of Acuña Lett brothers, Juan Ignacio and José Pablo. The company has gained experience with diverse projects from residential, touristic, ecologic and commercial. ACUÑA LETT ARCHITECTS is backed up by professionals in structural, mechanical and electrical engineering, as long as environmental, urbanism, landscaping, interior design and illumination.

On our constant search for architectural identity, we focus our investigation onto diverse architectural styles, climate conditions, social and cultural conditions. This way of thinking has been applied to every one of our projects in Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Mexico.
Our design alternative can be defined as a service proposal, giving an essential participation to clients in the whole process. We counsel every developer in every decision taking a high amount of our projects from draft to reality.

STAFF

Born in 1969. Architect, graduated in 1995 from “The Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey”, México (Campus Monterrey). He obtained a Specialty in Architectural Design and Urbanism Design. He is properly affiliated at the “Colegio Federado de Ingenieros y Arquitectos of Costa Rica” (CFIA). Regarding his professional experience as an architect, he worked at the following companies: From 1994 through 1996, he worked as an architect at “ARDI S.A.de C.V”, Monterrey, Nuevo León, México. From 1996 through 1997 he was vice-president of “Urbanismo más Arquitectura”, San José, Costa Rica. In 1996 he creates his own Architectural Workshop called “Studio-A” known today as “Acuña Lett Arquitectos S.A”.

Born in 1975. Architect, graduated in 2000 from “The Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey”, México (Campus Monterrey). He also obtained a Master Degree on Business Administration focused on International Business at FUNDEPOS, in 2004. Second place at the International contest of Design, at the Université Laval, in Québec, 1999. He is properly affiliated at the “Colegio Federado de Ingenieros y Arquitectos of Costa Rica” (CFIA). Regarding his professional experience as an architect, he worked at the following companies: From 1998 through 2000, he worked at ABITARE S.A. de C.V., Monterrey, México. In 2001 he worked at “Jaime Rouillon Arquitectura”, San José, Costa Rica From 2001 until now he joined, as a partner “Acuña Lett Arquitectos S.A.”
